Code of Conduct

I dig denim support a company culture characterised by responsibility. Our job is permeated by a social and environmental responsibility, and it is important to us that our employees, business partners and suppliers are treated with respect, Therefore, we have drawn up a set of outlines, our Code of Conduct, to make sure that the board, the management as well as our employees meet our requirements.

Our brand, I dig denim, is our most important asset. Hence, it is of utmost importance to us that I dig denim is represented in an ideal and responsible way at all stages. To be associated with respect for human rights and an environmentally friendly business practice is crucial to us when it comes to our business relations.

Production

Our clothes are primarily produced in China. We choose our suppliers and partners very carefully, as they stand for the agreements with the commissioned factories that manufacture our products. Our suppliers have long-time collaborations with the factories, some of them stretch back more than 15 years in time.

We maintain a continuous dialogue with our suppliers to ensure that they are committed to rigorous standards regarding working conditions and ethical responsibilities. The producers ensure that the production lives up to high requirements and audit that it takes place under good working conditions.

Our suppliers and producers are members of BSCI – Business Social Compliance Initiative – hence; they have the possibility to affect suppliers and factories in a positive direction. All members of BSCI follow the same code of conduct. You can find more information about BSCI here, and the code of conduct in full here.

Our suppliers also follow REACH, the European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals. You can find more information about REACH here.

As the main part of our production is for children we are committed to a supportive work environment and that the production takes place under good working conditions. We take a clear stand against all use of child labour.

I dig denim aims to produce all products as responsibly as possible. This is a continuing process between I dig denim and the producers. We have an ongoing plan for further improvement at all levels of production as we grow as a company.

I dig denim want to contribute and improve the life for the world’s children; therefore we support Childhood Foundation with an annual contribution. We also donate any residual stock to selected charities.
